Gearbox treatment

Each gearbox is stripped down to its individual parts and subjected to a thorough cleaning process in order to allow the subsequent high level inspection of wear and damage.

Individual parts are carefully examined and compared to the standards of factory-fresh originals, equipment that does not match up to specification is replaced. Many components, bearings gaskets and seals, in particular are replaced for new as a matter of course.

Transmissions are rebuilt by a team of highly qualified engineers, who all have many years experiance working in the assembly of both manual and automatic gearboxes.

Each finished transmission unit is painted and shrink-wrapped to protect it during storage and transit.

With technological advancement and the ever growing complexity of the transmission, training and product knowledge are the key tools for these dedicated engineers.
